Intro
The idea of ImmuneCorps was Inspired by this tweet call from Angel List’s founder Naval Ravikant. Our team at Zeroqode joined efforts with the team behind Republic and we decided to build ImmuneCorps.
The idea was to create a low-risk community of volunteers to help those who were at high risk during the global pandemic. This inspired the building of an online community to protect those among us who are most at risk. ImmuneCorps’ end goal is to create a community of recovered COVID-19 sufferers who are willing to use their time and energy to help the most high-risk among us

Challenge
The platform was supposed to be super simple for both the helpers and those in need of help to onboard and use. We quickly added the signup from most notable social networks to the volunteers (to validate their identities) and worked on a super-simple signup for the people that would submit the requests. We also needed to validate the right profile for both sides, to make sure that the helpers would not potentially increase the risk, so identity validation and approval management was required.
Lastly, the smart request management system that would be connecting people within the same geographical location, meaning that the requests posted needed to be available for people in the vicinity, as mostly they required physical presence and access (like Grocery shopping or dog walking)
Solution
Bubble was the right solution primarily because of the speed of deployment (we’ve built the initial version in just a few days).
It helped a lot to share the real, working application with the users to get their feedback and iterate on the features based on end-user feedback.
The volunteer facing system included the social networks sign in, profile management, request management and chat system, with a super-simple and intuitive interface.
The requestor’s interface was even more straightforward - two step process to create a profile and post the request, then manage the responses.
There was also an admin part to be able to manage the system and moderate the process if required.

A heartfelt thank you to the all-volunteer team that built and launched The ImmuneCorps, a site to connect those who need help with those who can help.
Results
The initial launch got a lot of support from the community, supported by big names such as Naval Ravikant and his team.
Because of the simplicity and scalability of the system, even after hundreds of signups, the system was barely feeling any load and was ready to handle even more users.
Multiple exchanges between the folks were initiated on the platform and no complaints were submitted, leading to people actively helping each other using the interface we built.
