💼 Business questions

Can you describe what it is about the no-code/low-code industry that you like?

There are thousands of people out there with good ideas who previously had no way to implement them. No-code gives them the tools to build something. So not only are we accelerating the pace of innovation, but we are also increasing the pool of people who can make things happen.

Can you describe your company/platform in the length of a tweet? (140 characters)

VisionX is the most open and flexible Low-Code Platform for business users and real coders to build easily and extend apps with no limits.

Can you share any exciting updates or developments that are planned for Vision X in the next 12 months?

We have a major update coming in October with hundreds of new actions, REST integrations with popular SaaS and ERP systems, and great native mobile Apps. Next year follow Smart components, more industry templates, and great machine learning assistance that really helps citizen developers to reach more without coding.

What do you believe will be the biggest trend in no-code and low code in the next 5 years?

The combination of templates, smart components, and machine learning will raise the possibilities for low code business users in an open/flexible platform to a completely different level.

Any advice for non-technical entrepreneurs with an idea for an online business who are put off by limited technical skills?

Non-technical founders tend to underestimate the difficulty of communicating exactly what they want to build in terms that are useful to a developer. No-code/low-code is a potential solution here. Before you go pay a developer or try to find a technical partner, build a prototype with a no-code tool. Not only will this help you flesh out your idea, it will also be much easier to tell a programmer what you are trying to do when you decide to take the next step.

🧔 Personal questions

Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes. The low-code idea was already 25 years ago in my head.

What are some of the obstacles you have faced growing your company and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge was lead generation, which we solved with a combination of LinkedIn, ads, content marketing, partner program, and conferences. Finding talented and good technicians was also very difficult, which we solved with employer branding and collaboration with IT schools.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

It’s a marathon and find affordable access to the right customers as fast as possible.
